Learn how easy and fun working with Fondant can be!! In this two hour beginners class you will learn
how to cover a cake with Fondant taking your cake decorating experience to a whole new level!! You
will earn how to handle, store, and color Fondant. You will also learn basics fondant techniques to
include: Fondant cutouts (in-lays & over-lays), borders, and using silicone molds.
8” or 9” cake, leveled & iced and placed on a 10” or 12” cake board
24oz of Premade Fondant – White
Box or container to transport cake
Plastic Fondant Mat (Wilton Roll & Cut Mat is recommended)
Pizza Cutter or similar rolling cutter
Small Paint Brush
Small metal spatula preferred tapered or angled (optional)
Paper Towels or wash cloth (optional)
Plastic bag to transport dirty utensils
You may register for class by phone (785-228-2253) with a credit card. If you prefer to pay by
cash or cash, you may register in person. Full payment is required to complete registration. Full
refund is given only if you cancel at least five (5) days before the class. After this deadline, no
refunds or credit will be issued. Sweet! Baking & Candy Making reserves the right to cancel a
class due to weather, other emergencies, or insufficient enrollment.
