With just a few supplies and a couple of steps you can make these fun clowns!
Supplies for Clown Cupcakes
size 21 decorating tip
size 4 decorating tip
Buttercream Frosting

How to Make a Frosting Clown
Frost cupcakes.
Color frosting and fill pastry bag fitted with size 21 tip. Pipe a mound of frosting in the center back of the cupcake.
Pipe two legs on the front.
Starting on one side pipe from base of clown up over the stop and down the other side.
Using contrasting frosting decorating tip size 4 pipe feet, hands and buttons. Add a clown head to the top.

I used to do birthday cakes for kids in the area and family. I put these clowns on a number of them. I have not tried one in years but you have inspired me to do so again. My children have grown so I got away from the kid side of doing cakes.
